A Lesson from the Oracle

To be a Dragon in Decagon is truly great

with courage and honour we meet our fate.

No matter what chore we are asked to perform we do it with pleasure, no egos are torn.

To nuture our young and look after each other, from wounded warrior to hatchling harassed mother, we fill our long lives to the best we are able, we laugh, we cry, and, together as one we enrich our species to ensure it goes on.

We know one day for each one of us, the time

will come to soar in the heavens with Draco

and kinfolk we will play in the stars.
